The Electricity grid is set to get a boost from Mozambique. The Minister of Electricity Kgosientsho Ramokgopa has confirmed that an emergency power purchasing agreement has been finalised. The agreement will see Mozambique providing South Africa with 100 megawatts of power in the short term. Minister Ramokgopa and his Mozambican counterpart Mineral Resources and Energy Minister Carlos Zacarias briefed the media on the latest agreement at the Union Buildings in Pretoria.
